LTC reader
For: Win/Mac
This handy software-only utility was developed for clients that wanted to log in Excel.
But it works with any application.
Just setup your soundcard to external audio, plug in a LTC signal and it locks on to it.
If you are working in a studio and have a spare laptop, you can have a huge display of the timecode that is currently recording, and make it clear to everyone if the camera is running or not.
Main features include
It has the ability to run in the background.
You can create a user-definable key (or key Combo) to get the current TC.
So while you are working in the application of your choice, you can have TC inserted with one keystroke, even have it TAB to the next field if you want.
The window is scalable, so if you need a big display, just stretch it to your liking or switch to full-screen.
In NTSC, it auto switches to the TC format and changes the notation for drop or non-drop.
History
Removed a bug in the windows version, it is now version 1.9
The mac version is now in verion 4.1, and supports basic RS422 output.
