Avid Locator to DVD chapter converter

If you want to have Chapter points in your DVD streams, it's a tedious job setting them manually in DVD SP. It is way more easy to set markers in Avid while you're working. This application converts an Avid Marker list to a DVD SP importable chapter list.

-Conversion between Pal and 24p (23.976)
-Conversion between NTSC drop and Non-drop TC

The demo version is limited to 16 chapters on export. That should be more than enough for an average production.

History

We are creating a DVD box with a lot of titles that need Direct Scene Access.
BUT, we are working in Pal on speeded up 24P material, that will be converted to 23.976 NTSC (to add pulldown in the player)
With this application we can set our chapter markers in a 25P Avid project, and export to 24P lists for Cinemacraft and DVD SP. Also, the images for the menus are exported in a way there can be no mixup on what goes where.
(Avid can auto export the images from locators as well, but then the naming is not logical anymore..)
