This player plays back Mpeg I and II, Qt and Wmv, while displaying the tc info recorded in the blanking lines (if available).
It also shows header information. if you load an Mpeg II clip. Note that it is still in beta!
Main features include
In the current state the playback is not optimum, specially not on full screen. However, the timecode reading is frame accurate.
If you need full size video playback, no problem, We could make that, but then the tc information will update slower or less accurate, making it less suitable for finding Tc breaks fast.
Depending on feedback we will add functionality, bring out a mac version or integrate it in other products (ReCut could be altered to generate an EDL, SubBits could lock to it)
The demo has been removed as we have made huge improvements in the reading compatibility, but have not yet implemented the changes in this demo version. If you want to toy with it, please drop us a line.!
